This past weekend the old Schooner sunk at the London Town Pier. In the lower right hand corner this is a diesel spill into the main part of the South River. Promptly I called Maryland Department of the Environment and they responded on site quickly. The owners of the vessel are responsible fiscally for the spill and uprighting the vessel. At this moment ( 14:03, 9-8-2010) our good friend and Federation Emeritus board member John Flood is out raising this boat to prevent any further damage.
