Unity Gardens is pleased to host a seminar on planning and implementing Living Shorelines for property owners, community associations and other interested parties.   

Scheduled presenters include representatives from the MD Dept. of Natural Resources,  Chesapeake Bay Trust, South River Federation, Chesapeake Bay Foundation, Shoreline Design, LLC, and Anne Arundel County.

Topics covered in the presentation will include:  Benefits of living shorelines,project siting, permitting, design and construction, plant selection, and project funding and grant opportunities. 

A guided tour of the nearby London Towne shoreline restoration project will follow the presentations.
