GREAT NEWS FOR SOUTH RIVER HEADWATERS!
$50,000 Grant to River Trust
The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation has awarded a $50,000 grant to the Scenic Rivers Land Trust. This grant will support the South River Greenway Project - a comprehensive land protection, restoration and community outreach project being developed by the Trust and the South River Federation, along with the Biophilia Foundation, the Trust for Public Land, Anne Arundel County government, and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
Scenic Rivers Land Trust was one of 34 recipients in the Chesapeake Bay Small Watershed Grants Program.
